SAMPLE 10-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1

London Gatwick to Entebbe

Board Uganda Airlines' direct overnight service from London Gatwick. Approximately 8 hours, no stopovers, no connections. You'll arrive at Entebbe International Airport around 7:30–8:30pm local time. Check into your Entebbe hotel, freshen up, and settle in. Tomorrow the adventure begins.

Day 2

Transfer to Mpigi - Serenity Oval - Community Cricket & Charity Evening

Morning drive from Entebbe to Mpigi (approx. 1 hour). Check into your Mpigi hotel and head to Serenity Oval , your home ground for the next three nights. Afternoon: optional training session on the ground. Then something truly special: an evening of charity/development cricket with local children from the surrounding community. 70 overs, genuine smiles, memories your squad will carry home. Meet the neighbours. Hear the birdsong. Feel the warmth of Ugandan hospitality.

Day 3

Match 1 - Serenity Oval, Mpigi | Evening: Hold Lion Cubs

Our first competitive match at Serenity Oval. The opposition is arranged to your playing standard. Post-match tea and presentations with the home side. Then, as the afternoon light turns golden — a short transfer to a nearby wildlife sanctuary where you'll get up close with lion cubs. Hold them, photograph them, experience Africa in a way most tourists never do. Overnight Mpigi.

Day 4

Match 2 — Serenity Oval | Evening: Lake Victoria - Shoebill Birdwatching + African Dance Display

Your second competitive match at Serenity Oval. Then a remarkable evening unfolds: transfer to the shores of Lake Victoria to search for the shoebill stork one of Africa's most extraordinary and sought-after birds. As the sun sets over the lake, return for a traditional African cultural dance display: drumming, colour, movement, and genuine Ugandan hospitality at its finest. A night no squad ever forgets. Overnight Mpigi.

Day 5 & 6

Your Wildlife Break - Choose Your Safari

Two nights of world-class wildlife. Choose your route when you enquire, both are extraordinary.

Day 7

Kampala - Match 3 at Lugogo Cricket Oval

Transfer to Uganda's vibrant capital city (approx. 5 hours from QENP / 4 hours from Murchison). Check in to your Kampala city hotel. Afternoon: Match 3 at Lugogo Cricket Oval, an ICC-standard ground in the heart of the capital, where Uganda's national team has played. Post-match: Kampala is yours. Rooftop bars, live music, nyama choma, Uganda's famous street food scene. One night in Africa's most energetic city.

Day 8

Jinja - Match 4 + White Water Rafting + Bungee + Source of the Nile

Transfer to Jinja, East Africa's adventure capital (2.5 hours from Kampala). Morning: Match 4 at Jinja Cricket Ground with the Nile audible between overs. Then the afternoon that makes every squad's highlight reel: Grade 4/5 white water rafting on the Nile. The world's longest river at its most exhilarating. Optional: bungee jump over the Nile at the famous Nile High Bungee site (44-metre drop). Visit the Source of the Nile, where 6,650km of river begins. Jinja town dinner and one unforgettable night.

Days 9 & 10

Return to Entebbe - Overnight Flight - Arrive London Gatwick

Morning at leisure in Jinja. Transfer to Entebbe International Airport (approx. 90 minutes). Board Uganda Airlines' direct overnight service back to London Gatwick. Arrive Day 10, with four matches, two safaris, lion cubs, rhinos, the Nile, and a lifetime's worth of stories. Your squad will be planning the return trip before the wheels touch down.
