10 DAYS WILDLIFE AND PRIMATE ADVENTURE

DAY 1; TRAVEL FROM KAMPALA TO LAKE MBURO

Your driver will come to pick you up and take you to Lake Mburo as early as 7am. You'll get to see the many flora kinds as you go, such as the savanna, and pause to take pictures near the Equator. You will arrive check in and have lunch. Later go for an evening game drive. During this drive, you will be able to view a variety of creatures here, including warthogs, buffaloes, zebras, impala, buffaloes, and, with any luck, monkeys among others. Then have dinner and rest.

DAY 2; BOAT CRUISE AND TRANSFER TO KIBALE

Breakfast will be served early in the morning, followed by a morning boat cruise where you will get to see crocodiles, hippos, zebras at the water's edge, bush backs, and several bird species, like the yellow bill and kingfisher, among others while on the boat trip. Additionally, you will be able to recognize the many kinds of vegetation. After this, you will have lunch in fort portal then proceed to kibale.

DAY 3; CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND BIGODI NATURE WALK

Following breakfast, your guide will take you to the briefing area, where you give your information and permit for registration and chimpanzee community trek allocation. Your ranger guide will then lead you on the walk to find this magnificent primate after you have been assigned to a chimpanzee community. Here, you will get to observe the chimpanzees as they graze, play, relax, and swing from the branches in the canopy far above the forest floor. After lunch you will explore the village of Bigodi in the afternoon. Birdwatchers will be particularly interested in the opportunity to explore a wetland that is home to a variety of butterflies, plants, animals, and amazing birds, such as the Great Blue Turaco. Following this activity, you will go on a village tour and get to learn their way of life.eg the local herbs, banana beer making, busked making, and coffee experience. Later on, you will check into your hotels for dinner and rest.

 DAY 4; TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH AND EVENING GAME DRIVE

The day will start with an early morning breakfast then you will head to Kasese to visit Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will stop over for lunch and later proceed to Kasese for an evening game drive. During the game drive you will be able to see lions, lone buffalo, kobs, elephants, etc. Since you can easily get a close-up view of these animals, it is a wonderful and thrilling moment. Later on, will check into your hotel for bed rest and dinner.

DAY 5; BOAT CRUISE AND TREE CLIMBING LIONS

After breakfast, you will have a morning boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, which is home to many different types of animals and birds, including crocodiles, elephants, hippos, and many more. In essence, cruising on the Kazinga is one of the park's most striking pastimes. After this, you will have lunch then proceed to ishasha to spot the tree climbing lions. Later on, you will return to your hotel for dinner and bed rest.

DAY 6; TRANSFER TO LAKE BUYONYI, CONOEING AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI

Morning picks up from your hotel, and head for Kabale in the south west. You will arrive arriving for lunch time at the lodge, and later continue for a boat cruise to discover one of the deepest lakes in Africa and famous for its amazing scenery with a total of 29 islands. After this proceed to Bwindi national park.

 DAY 7; GORILLA TREKKING AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCE (BATWA TRAIL)

As early as 6;00am, you will wake up and have breakfast then head to the park for gorilla trekking which begins at 7;00am. The guides will take you deep into the jungle so you can see the primates in their homestead. One of the most thrilling activities on earth may involve tracking the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Trekking will take us about 4 -5 hours as we get to meet the gorilla family and get to spend time with them in their territories. You will be able to take pictures with them and also learn about their characteristics. After this, you will have lunch and relax a bit then later visit a village or Batwa community after leaving the jungle. This will provide you a wonderful opportunity to witness how the locals live. You have the chance to meet and converse with the native people at this beautiful time in Bwindi.

DAY 8; TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS

At 9am after your breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and travel to Murchison falls. During the journey, you will have a stopover for lunch before proceeding. After lunch continue to the park where you will view the top of the falls then later go check into your hotels for dinner and sleep over.

DAY 9; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE AND TRANSFER TO KAMPALA.

An early morning will embark with a game drive at 6;00am after your breakfast. You will go into the wild for a game drive about 4 hours. You will get to identify different animals in the wild like the antelopes, zebras, impala, lions, cheetahs etc. after the game drive, you will have lunch then embark on a two-hour boat ride up the Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls. You can see wildlife along the river banks and enjoy the stunning environment while on the boat tour. Other species including antelopes, buffaloes, elephants, etc. visit the banks to drink and escape the heat while hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and various water birds are common sight. After this, you will return back to your hotel for dinner and bedrest.

DAY 10; TRANSFER TO KAMPALA

After an early morning breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and head back to Kampala. This will be the end of your trip

WHAT TO PACK FOR TREKKING

GENERAL INFORMATION

CLOTHING: Dress is mainly informal and should be comfortable as well as practical. Something warm should be brought along for early morning and evenings. Safari clothes are available from hotels/lodges/camps.

BAGGAGE: Where possible, travel light. Baggage space on safari is limited to medium suitcase or soft bag per person plus reasonable amount of hand luggage. There is 15 Kilogram per person limit on all flights to the wildlife sanctuaries. Excess luggage must be stored in your arrival hotel.

WATER; You will find many different of opinion of what is safe and what is not. We recommend for peace of mind, to drink local Bottled Mineral water. It is important to drink plenty of water especially during the hotter months. We would recommend that guests drink at least 2 to 3 litters of water per day to limit the effects of dehydration.
