OVERVIEW
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located near to the Virunga National Park and along Uganda's border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is a water catchment region that receives water from many lakes and rivers. There are 120 animal species, 348 bird species, and 163 tree species in these enormous forests. Chimpanzees, civets, elephants, giant forest hogs, golden cats, Colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys. Mgahinga National Park in Uganda and the dense forest of Bwindi are home to half of the world's mountain gorilla population.
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
An early morning will start off with breakfast then your guide / driver will be picking up. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwest Uganda takes eight to nine hours. Although it might seem like a long drive, it is worthwhile since you get to view some of the most breathtaking rural landscapes, from plantations and hills to the Virunga Mountains. As you move, the driver will make sure you stop over at the Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara and the equator. You will have a lunch break and a bit of rest then procced. After arriving in Bwindi, have a shower, relax, and spend the evening with friends at the hotel.
DAY 2; GORILLA TREKKING AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
As early as 6;00am, you will wake up and have breakfast then head to the park for gorilla trekking which begins at 7;00am. The guides will take you deep into the jungle so you can see the primates in their homestead. One of the most thrilling activities on earth may involve tracking the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Trekking will take us about 4 -5 hours as we get to meet the gorilla family and get to spend time with them in their territories. You will be able to take pictures with them and also learn about their characteristics. After this, you will have lunch and relax a bit then later visit a village or Batwa community after leaving the jungle. This will provide you a wonderful opportunity to witness how the locals live. You have the chance to meet and converse with the native people at this beautiful time in Bwindi.

DAY 3; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
An early morning will start off with breakfast then you check out of your hotel and travel back to Kampala. As you travel, you will get to observe and admire the steep-sided hills covered from top to bottom in well-kept agricultural terraces, this area is hilly and extremely fertile. You will then stop at the equator for pictures. The Equator line is a breathtaking feature of this trip. We shall later on proceed and have lunch in Mbarara then continue to Kampala.

WHAT TO PACK FOR TREKKING
- Insect repellent
- Waterproof hiking boots
- Bottled drinking water
- Long-sleeved shirts and trousers to avoid scratches on your body.
- A walking stick to ease trekking
- Camera and binoculars
- A small backpack to carry a few essentials like cameras and extra batteries while trekking.
- A sun hat and sunscreen.
GENERAL INFORMATION
CLOTHING: Dress is mainly informal and should be comfortable as well as practical. Something warm should be brought along for early morning and evenings. Safari clothes are available from hotels/lodges/camps.
BAGGAGE: Where possible, travel light. Baggage space on safari is limited to medium suitcase or soft bag per person plus reasonable amount of hand luggage. There is 15 Kilogram per person limit on all flights to the wildlife sanctuaries. Excess luggage must be stored in your arrival hotel.
WATER; You will find many different of opinion of what is safe and what is not. We recommend for peace of mind, to drink local Bottled Mineral water. It is important to drink plenty of water especially during the hotter months. We would recommend that guests drink at least 2 to 3 litters of water per day to limit the effects of dehydration.
